2013 IASIR Conference
As reflected in the preliminary program (attached), the 2013 Conference of the International Association of Security and Investigative Regulators highlights the above theme, taking a focused look at the increasing role of private security in maintaining public security, particularly in the context of reduced financing of police forces. While many industry groups are discussing this important trend, IASIR is unique in its examination of this issue from a regulatory standpoint.
This year, our conference organizers, including the IASIR program committee and the Quebec Bureau de la Sécurité Privée, are bringing together international experts and industry leaders to consider the growing partnership between law enforcement agencies and the private security sector worldwide. On behalf of the IASIR Board of Directors, we invite your participation in this important conversation and hope to see you in Quebec City!
